HOW DOES THE ADOPTION PROCESS WORK?
We make it easy!
To adopt from us, just call our office at (530) 643-1107 after 8:00 am.
If it’s a good fit, we’ll schedule an appointment so you and the dog can meet in person. We only schedule same-day appointments and all meetings are scheduled for after our office opens at 11:00 am.
Please be sure ALL members of the household are truly ready to adopt before you contact us.
PRe-Adoption
Sometimes we rescue a dog that isn’t yet ready for its forever family — it may be too young or need medical treatment, for example. In those cases, pre-adoption is available to families who qualify.
If you’re interested in reserving a specific dog, please give us a call to see if pre-adoption is available. Fees are paid upfront and are fully refundable in case the match doesn’t work for whatever reason.
